Explore Real Estate in Life After Dark Communities

The Life After Dark communities have hot real estate markets. Although these communities range in size (Regatta Bay, for example, is a much smaller community than that of Panama City Beach), they do all offer a vast selection of properties to choose from, in a variety of types and styles.

Miramar Beach is a great all-rounder in regards to properties for sale. Composed of single-family homes, townhomes, condominiums, and even vacant land, the price points for available luxury beach properties in this area range quite a bit. But this area in particular is known for its beautiful beachside condos.

Gulf Place, conversely, is known for stunning beachfront single-family homes—the absolute height of luxury. Like any of the communities here, there isn’t one set architectural style for the area. Single-family homes tend to be built in the Florida beach style: multi-story structures with porches and balconies, siding, columns, and contrast trim. Of course, there are also a number of large, luxury estates that are constructed in Mediterranean or Contemporary styles. This is personal taste, and there are a lot of options available for whatever your personal style is!

Large condominium complexes, specifically new builds, tend to lean towards a Contemporary style, while townhomes are primarily Florida Beach style.

One great aspect of living in any of the Life After Dark communities—or anywhere along the beach in the Emerald Coast for that matter—is the close proximity these properties have to the community’s most happening areas.

All of the communities that make up those listed here are unique in their own way. Life is a little bit different whenever you choose to settle down, but all of these communities have great shopping, dining, and entertainment opportunities!

There's so much to see and do in the Life After Dark communities once the sun goes down. Click here to read our blog post about the secret bars around 30A!

Panama City Beach, one of the biggest regions in the Life After Dark communities, has a multitude of shops and restaurants located along Front End Road and the shoreline. These attract many visitors, but residents especially enjoy the wide variety of options available. The south end of Panama City Beach in particular is home to some highly-rated eateries, including Sunset Lounge and The Liq.

Gulf Place has its own town center, which is where the unique boutiques and restaurants are found. This walkable area is a must-see shopping destination for many. For fine dining, one might visit Vue on 3A. For a more laid-back dining experience, there’s Perfect Pig Grill and Fish House. Plus, there are a number of bars to choose from, such as Growler Garage, and even more restaurants to choose from along West County Highway 30A.

The main shopping and dining area for Sandestin is along Grand Boulevard, and this resort community has everything from fine dining (Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar) to more laid-back and fun bistros (Vintij Food & Wine). It’s also home to the Emerald Coast Theatre Company.

Miramar Beach has a multitude of options, with tons of restaurants and bars packed into a small area along the coast and along Emerald Coast Parkway West. These restaurants are generally more laid-back, but Miramar Beach also offers exciting entertainment, such as theatres, laser tag and an arcade, and golf.
